places like times square and last year's underwear bomber and a variety of shootings that may have terrorist relationships when they are directed against our armed forces or people in the armed forces, these are incidents that reflect the international nature and in some ways the troubling part of that is in the united states when there isn't an apparent or immediate direct link to the special community or its training facilities that have been maintained in the middle east, we have to be vigilant and you have things like this that are added and we begin to understand this is, indeed, the international threat. it is now something which seems to emanate not only from outside the united states but sometimes to have an internal generation potential. it warrants close attention.
