that i just never understood. i mean, as members of congress fully know, that if you're doing something you shouldn't be doing, i mean, there's a microscope. i mean, there's a microscope and things that members of congress do. i mean, any candidate who thinks they're going to run for congress or the senate that, you know, that does some bad things in the past or that you do things in office and some other-- you're not going to be found out, in the world of, you know, everything you do is going to be on camera or someone listening, you know, as you walk by. i mean, everything you do, because of who you are, is going to be found out and it's a matter of, you know, just clean up your act. understand that if you, you know, if you're going to pursue this kind of behavior, don't think you can get away with it because you cannot get away with it not in today's world. >> let me add, too, i think having an open ethics procedure. having an actual hearing, a trial conducted publicly by the ethics committee when there are serious charges, i think that's a step in the right direction and you ought to have an open
