not investment or productivity. what are you doing? you take money away, not by charity, keep in mind. you play the heart strings, oh, the poor defensiveless people. this isn't charity. this is government force. you are taking money away from productive people. >> cheryl: you know -- >> and chris, here is the thing. pelosi actually believes this is the best way to do this. she doesn't even -- she is not thinking out of the box. she thinks hand out the check, keep them coming, this is the best way to create jobs and get money in the system. it's ludicrous. the worst part about it -- >> that's unfair. >> the worst part about it is you have to require taxes withheld on the checks. if you don't do it you get screwed at the end. you don't realize what the checks do. the checks are not good to come in your household at the end of the day. >> cheryl: chris? >> i mean, listen, to me it's simple. we have to decide as society if we want to help people who are unemployed? i think most americans and most elected leaders, most government leaders believe it's the right thing to do. you want the economic
