>> reporter: hi, the situation out here is very sad and very grim. as you have hundreds of volunteers out in this dense arkansas wilderness, but they know their hope is really against the odds that survivors will be found now days after the little missouri river came 23 feet over its normal levels, came up over its banks and swallowed up entire families in these camp grounds. as we learned identities of the dead, we can see a lot of them have the same last name because families went out camping together. we also see another very sad reality, the fact that seven of those confirmed dead now are under the age of ten. but there are some three people, as you mentioned, for whom the search is really focused. that is because these three individuals were known to be in that albert pike camp ground when the river came up over its banks. those people are now gone. that's who they're searching for. there are an additional 20 people who may or may not have been in the flood zone at the time, but the fact is, no one can get ahold of them right now.
