america today who feel we're losing our freedoms while people of other faiths are gaining their freedoms. so it is a perception. whether it is right or wrong is still a perception. >> reporter: jane, he is also taking part in events here on capitol hill. jane: shannon, quickly a few weeks ago we heard a federal judge declared national day of prayer unconstitutional. what about the people who sued about that the fact that it is still happening today anyway? >> reporter: they're not happy. they have a full-page ad in "new york times" decrying what is happening today. they won in court. they said the day of prayer shouldn't be happening a dangerous mix of government and religion. i talked to one of the plaintiffs. here is her thoughts. >> you have politicians using this event to pander for votes or feeling they must put their stamp of approval on such things as prayer breakfasts and healing events and prayer proclamations. it is very dangerous. >> reporter: people here
