is requiring all law enforcement in the state of arizona to be retrained to make sure that this law is enforced effectively, but no doubt you've got two very heated sides, gregg, and the good news to report out of here is there have been no incidents of violence to report. and that is always good at this point. >> gregg: casey stegall live in phoenix. thanks very much. >> juliette: folks on both sides of the immigration debate reacting passionately to the new arizona law, as you've heard. meanwhile, in congress, senate democrats are working on a plan to overhaul the nation's immigration system, but interestingly, it includes a number of measures republicans tend to support, including a focus on securing the border. two members of congress are joining me now, texas republican michael burgess and massachusetts democrat steve lynch. great to have you here. before we get on to that, i want to get your reactions quickly, if you could, to the arizona legislation that was passed just recently. congressman burgess, we'll start with you.
