this. what are you learning? >> reporter: we have new information from the women on what life was like inside isis, the conditions they faced. one of them ran away from the terror group a few weeks ago. these women are clearly traumatized by their experiences. she made a bold and she now says foolish decision to leave her home in of all places, alabama, to join isis overseas. tonight, this 24-year-old american woman is speaking out in new interviews about her life with the terrorist group. she told abc news she was radicalized online in the u.s. then made her way to syria through turkey four years ago. she says reality hit her when she arrived in syria. >> i don't know. i thought i was doing things correctly for the sake of god. when i came here and i saw everything with my own eyes i realized i made a big mistake. i know i ruined my future and my son's future.
