[ crying ] >> reporter: now, she is, amazingly enough, one of the lucky ones. she had lawyers backing her up. she was able to get her initial asylum claim, the credible fear test, as they call it. she passed that and then she was able to get bond and then she got out and then she was able to identify where her child was. they flew her child in to logan, to meet her and that's the reunion we see now. we are hearing, it is possible, that the trump administration is beginning to move so the gears of immigration policy to allow more families to be reunited here. we're hearing that some families have gotten bond in southern texas and that we may begin to see more scenes like that in the days ahead.
