appeasement at all. far from it. i'm talking about a deal. i'm talking about some kind of verifiable freeze where the countries in the region, those most directly related, the u.s., china, for example, japan, south korea, say hey, here is what we can do. it might mean u.s. military exercises might be diminished a bit over there. it could be lots of other things, as long as we reach the final goal. and what's the final goal, which is putting a stop to what kim is doing. that's not appeasement. that's the solution we're looking for. >> the solution you just suggested is something that china and russia have suggested, freeze the nuclear development, don't fire any more missiles or do any more nuclear tests on north korea's side, meanwhile, stop the drills, stop the show of force with south korea and the u.s. >> right. >> it's interesting to hear you agreeing with what some consider u.s. adversaries.
