>> i want you to get home and get out of here quickly. the winds are picking up. >> absolutely. >> wow, amazing. let's bring in a storm chaser. saw five or six tornadoes today, just east of oklahoma city. he joins us now. reed, i know you're in eastern oklahoma. how many tornadoes have you seen in the past few hours? >> well, it's died down for us. we usually shut down after nightfall because it's too dangerous to intercept the tornadoes. we saw five or six throughout the day. the first of which was a violent wedge and we were able to intercept it in our armored vehicle and record some data inside that tornado. >> what kind of damage have you seen so far? >> we haven't seen much of the damage directly. we've just kind of been in open territory. we did see one tornado that hit a farm and it just got lofted way into the air.
