the "merrick jones" will have to wait until dawn to reach baton rouge, but these barge men say they will deliver the cargo come hell or high water. >> okay. patrick oppmann with me from vicksburg, and remind us, because you said it in the piece, how long it takes for them to get down the baton rouge, and how long to mack it back up? >> well, it took much, much longer, because it is strange, t.j. with the current pushing and they make it more dangerous. they are concerned about going un un ununder the bridges and the nighttime we have to stop, because it is going to take them twice as long to go up and back from the river, because they have lighter loads and that means carry less and bring less up which raises costs on a lot of of the items that we end up using in our daily lives.
