of "outside" magazine. alex joins us now along with peter bergen and nicholas christoff of the new york times. when i was watching this last night i was so disappointed. i loved this book. what did mortenson tell you of n. your interview with him? you have a rare interview. what did he say to give context to what was a major piece about a lot of problems in his organization and his book? >> remember, when i spoke with him he hasn't seen the "60 minutes" report or the article coming out shortly or is available now. so he was guessing what the allegations were and i kind of was able to walk him through what was likely coming. he went through the major things, the story about the kidnapping and then allegations of financial impropriety. for all those things he has an answer. now, whether they're going to prove satisfactory, i think it's too early to tell, but you know,
