>> christine, i think we settled that hot dog versus chicken topic. >> if your kids are overweight you probably heard you need to eat less and move more. many parents suffer a disconnect when it comes to their children and don't know when their children are obese. something could lead to health problems later on. elizabeth cohen joins us. >> a lot of parents don't know their child is obese which is a big problem because you can't fix something if you don't know that it's wrong. this study that was done by columbia university researchers what they found is that half of the moms in their study, they looked at hundreds of moms. half of the moms didn't realize that their child was owe bees. that's a lot of moms who don't know that their child has a pretty serious health problem. >> did the kids realize they were obese? >> no, the kids didn't know either. four out of five of the kids.
