protection for the u.s. lawmakers in their home districts has become more urgent following the shootings in tucson. we go to our homeland security correspondent jeanne meserve. what are you learning? >> well, wolf, surveillance cameras and peepholes and panic buttons are the sorts of things that members of congress are now considering for the district offices in light of the shootings in tucson. >> well, it is a little cold out there, right? >> reporter: maryland congressman is a gregarious guy who loves glad handing with the public. it is part of his job. but threats are part of it, too. >> we get threats all of the kind. >> what kind? >> well, threats that if you don't do this, he won't wake up tomorrow. and we don't like who he is or what he is. he is gone. >> reporter: rupersberger
