barbara at the pentagon, give us the headlines for 2010. >> beginning of the year, middle of the year, end of the year. afghanistan, of course. war has been traj nick some ctr this year. 30,000 more troops on the ground. and shutter for the war in the middle of the year when stanley mckristol got fired by the president as the top commander. along with don't ask, don't tell have been the two major stories this year. >> what should the pentagon be focusing on next year? >> they already have their marching orders 2011. getting troops out of afghanistan. and bring them home. and looking further down the road, i mean, let's not for get 9/11, this year, ten-year anniversary, it could become a political football. bin laden has not been found. all of this could rear its head again in the political season. >> i know the white house as well. obviously looking at that ten-year anniversary.
