racing to help them. and it was quite a scene. but i have to say that the folks at sugarloaf who work on the ski patrol and work at the mountain did an incredible job. they quickly got to the people who were wounded and seriously injured and went about the business of communicating with us stranded on the chair lifts and told us exactly how we're going to get off. about an hour later in 8 degree temperatures with a serious wind. but we all got off okay. and -- >> and i'm happy to be here. >> i'm happy that you're here -- you know, in good enough condition to tuck to us and that nothing happened to us. are you an avid skier, robb? >> yeah. we come up here every year. before i joined cnn, i lived in maine. we have a ski cabin up here. sugarloaf is one of the best places, the jewel of the northeast. just beautiful snow, wonderful people. it's just terrible that this accident happened. >> the reason i asked you that
