environment that respects the rights an beliefs of all individuals. here's one of those stories that will leave you shaking your head. county health inspectors in portland, oregon shut down one entrepreneur's new business because she didn't apply for the necessary permit. the entrepreneur was a 7-year-old girl selling lemonade. >> we didn't have a vending license. apparently it costs $120 and i didn't know about that. so $120 to sell 50 cent cups of lemonade. they're going to look into changing it so little 7 and 8-year-old kids can have lemonade stands and don't have to worry about being shut down by the government. >> county officials are looking into fixing this problem. the county chair also telephoned the family to apologize. >> vending license to sell lemonade? really? >> do you ever read phillip k. howard's book "the death of common sense"? that could be a whole chapter. >> that really is something. that poor little girl though learned a big lesson.
