week or so. the forecast this weekend remains to have more of a southeasterly flow to the winds and generally calm winds. we're still monitoring changes. the winds will start to turn, eventually become more southerly, and as we go toward tuesday to wednesday become more southwesterly. our concern for the oil spill would be to move further to the east towards alabama and maybe the panhandle of florida. right now it's still very uncertain, but i can tell you we are seeing some more spreading a little bit when we look at the winds and the force of the weather in terms of the gulf. we are seeing thunderstorms in the area. never a good sign because that does sort of hamper some of the efforts they're doing offshore right now since some of the storms are pretty powerful in louisiana right now. kate, jim? >> there's a lot going on with the weather today. thank you, bonnie. >> bonnie, you are earning your keep today. >> keeping track of it all. i can't. turning now to one of our cnn heroes. this is an amazing story. how do you overcome tragedy to rediscover your zest for life? well, if you are dana cummings, you focus on what you can do.
