down into the rio valley. that storm will push eastward then saturday as well. and we will see the middle and lower mississippi river valleys having that threat of severe weather. now, today nothing severe here but we are dealing with rain showers and heavy downpours at times. and just enough to kind of make for some slick roadways and potential air travel delays. the nation's mid section doing okay today. the western storm waiting in the wings today. bringing some heavy snow into the higher elevations and really strong winds associated with this, expect to see gusts up to 45 miles per hour across the four corners as well as southern california. and we could see a few isolated thunderstorms out of that system today, as well. fredric fredricka. >> okay, thank you. i know they're not thanking you. thanks for keeping us informed. >> i'm just the messenger. >> appreciate it. same-sex couples have been fighting for the legal right to marry. but now they may be fighting just as hard for the right to get divorced.
