it been snooping on you? now records pried loose by watchdogs shows an apparent violation against domestic spying. lisa sylvester is digging into the story. what are you turning up, lisa? >> well, the u.s. military is not to participate in domestic law enforcement, and that is the job of the fbi. but there are documents which show that the u.s. military was in fact spying on u.s. citizens. leading up to the 2002 winter olympics in salt lake city, the u.s. military was working with the fbi on security. but the military may have crossed the line. not just monitoring the activ y activities of foreign nationals, but keeping close tabs on u.s. citizens. according to documents released by the department of defense inspector general, the u.s. joint forces group was reporting on the organizations of planned parenthood and a white supremacist group, the white alliance and the involvement in protests and literature
