CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Few movies are more closely associated with a city than “A Christmas Story” is with Cleveland.
Although Jean Shepherd’s short story is largely based on his youth in Hammond, Ind., Cleveland’s enthusiasm for the holiday classic and a number of easy-to-visit filming locations ensure that the Parkers, the Bumpuses and Black Bart are not going anywhere.
