A desperate search is underway to find a 12-year-old girl who has been missing for three days.
Amelia Hamza has not been seen since leaving a home on Denbern Street in Dean Park, Sydney's west, about 12pm on Thursday.
Police have launched an investigation into her disappearance after her family raised the alarm on Saturday after she failed to return home.
Amelia's worried family are concerned for her safety because of her young age. She is believed to have spent time in Sydney's CBD on Saturday.
'Police and family have concerns for Amelia's welfare due to her young age and inquiries have led police to believe she spent time in the Sydney CBD on Saturday,' NSW Police said in a statement.
