Desert Door presents Casco Porto Release Dinner with Contigo

Desert Door Texas Sotol is hosting a four course dinner in collaboration with Contigo to commemorate the launch of Casco Porto, Desert Door’s fourth limited Explorer Series release and the first to feature European origin barrels. This special barrel came all the way from Portugal where it was once used to age port.
Upon arrival at the event, guests will be warmly escorted to their reserved tables with a cocktail and starter, setting the tone for the four courses and the respective drink pairings. The intimate dinner highlights Contigo’s rustic offerings, including roasted carrot and jalapeño dip with sotol chicharron, hamachi crudo, Casco Porto barrel brined pork, and smoked beets. The final course features grapefruit, sotol and burnt honey cake with a neat pour of Desert Door’s Casco Porto.
