Descendants star Dove Cameron and
To All the Boys' Jordan Fisher will find love in very unlikely circumstances in a new romantic comedy.
HBO Max has cast the duo in
Field Notes on Love, an adaptation of the Young Adult novel of the same name by its author Jennifer E Smith and
According to
Deadline, the movie will tell the unlikely love story that blooms when Hugo (Fisher) is dumped by his girlfriend on the eve of the couple going on a cross-country train trip.
Hugo ends up giving the extra ticket to a girl he doesn't know – film school reject Mae (Cameron). The more the pair get to know each other across their trek, the more they connect.
