Department of Defence bleeds close to R170m in fraud and corruption

The Hawks are investigating four cases of fraud and corruption that saw the Department of Defence and Military lose R167-million in public funds. Hawks boss Lieutenant-General Godfrey Lebeya revealed this during a presentation to the Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans on 31 May.
