Denver Indie Bookstore Launches BookBar Press with Debut Release

Another Denver independent bookstore is making news: today BookBar launches its book publishing division, BookBar Press, with its debut release,
Bite Size: An Anthology of Micro Theatre. The anthology features 10 short plays that were originally produced in 2018 by the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and staged at BookBar. The plays, all written by area playwrights, all deal with books in some way and touch upon such
au courant topics as social justice, prisoner rights, religious revelations, and transgender experiences. A virtual book launch party will be held this weekend.
