Denise E. Leroux Benware, 80, of Willow Lane, Gloversville, passed away peacefully at home on Monday morning, April 12, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Tupper Lake, NY on March 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna Allard Leroux.
Denise was a 1959 graduate of Holy Ghost Academy in Tupper Lake and was a longtime resident. In 1994, she moved to Mayfield to be closer to her children.
In her early life, Denise enjoyed working at a dress factory and later became a home health aide, both in Tupper Lake. While living in Mayfield, Denise was employed by Schenectady ARC working in Glenville for several years. Later, she worked at Smith Orchards in Ballston Spa along with her sister and niece.
