Demands not met, Pune-Daund commuters threaten to boycott Lok Sabha polls

The primary demand of the commuters is to have the Daund-Pune section designated as a sub-urban section, and to replace the operations of Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) and Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) trains with Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) trains.
