As supplies of the COVID-19 vaccine remain limited in Florida, the plan continues to be for health care workers and those over the age of 65 to get the shots.
Members of law enforcement, who have not met the age requirement, are not eligible.
Delray Beach Police Chief Javaro Sims shares his thoughts.
"Well I thought it was pretty interesting when law enforcement kind of fell off the list as being one of the essential professions that should receive the vaccine."
Sims says his officers put themselves at risk of catching the coronavirus on a daily basis, as they make contact with people.
