The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has released over Rs 460 crores deposited as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) by around 2,300 bidders in its recent and ongoing Housing Scheme. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena directed DDA to ensure the release of EMDs to applicants within 15 days, emphasizing strict compliance with procedures to avoid harassment.
