The United States will expand the combat training program for the Ukrainian military, said Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder. According to him, from January, up to 500 people a month will be trained at American military bases in Germany. Training will include not only maneuvers and combat tactics, but also the use of specialized equipment, Ryder said. At the same time, he stressed that the United States supposedly does not want a conflict with Russia, but only provides support to Kyiv, which they started back in 2014. Experts believe that Washington is thus seeking to aggravate the situation in Ukraine and prepare Kyiv for a counteroffensive on Russian positions.
