When you struggle to score and your lineup is decimated by injuries, you can’t afford too many defensive mistakes.
The Detroit Red Wings made a couple of costly miscues in their own zone Thursday and it cost them in a 3-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena.
