Defense wants evidence thrown out in Ocala murder case
A judge said he needs to review transcripts, videos and testimony before deciding whether to suppress key evidence in a pending murder case. 
Last week, Assistant State Attorney Amy Berndt and defense lawyer Jason Wise questioned four Marion County Sheriff's Office deputies about their roles involving the grizzly discovery of a woman's body in a camper in early December 2018. 
Was the search legal?
At issue for Circuit Judge Steven Rogers is whether sheriff's detectives had legal authorization to search the camper that led them to find the body of 48-year-old Lisa M. Jeffrey, as well as other evidence.
