The Yankton City Commission this week debated the extension of the face mask mandate. That resolution was passed in early December and since then, active cases of Covid-19 in the county have dropped sharply. The proposal would extend the mandate to late May.

The commission will hold a public hearing and act on the face mask mandate at their next meeting on February 22nd.
