An autopsy was carried out on Thursday morning, and a forensic examination of Foote’s property, which she owned, is underway.
Her family have declined to comment.
On Thursday afternoon, Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Johnson said Foote’s death was being treated as “unexplained”.
Anyone with information that might help the investigation should contact police, he said.
