Members of the City Council for Dayton Lakes met with Klint Bush, Liberty County Elections Administrator and Greg Arthur, County Commissioner for Precinct 2, at The Vindicator offices earlier in the week. The meeting was arranged between the officials in order to help Dayton Lakes get back to the standards of a city in the State of Texas.
The city hasn’t had a council meeting in months and hasn’t had a stable leadership structure in years. Bush will be working with the current mayor and city council to facilitate a city council meeting on March 4, with a concrete agenda aimed at getting the city structure in place to move forward.
