Dates changed for Ramaphosa’s State Capture appearance
Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has acceded to a request by President Cyril Ramaphosa to have some of his testimony before the State Capture Commission postponed
DCJ Zondo said on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, that Ramaphosa sought the changes due to other commitments.
Ramaphosa was initially set to take the stand as president of the African National Congress (ANC) on the 28th and 29th of April. However, Zondo has said that Ramaphosa would instead appear on the 28 and 29 April. He would then appear in his capacity as head of state on the 13th and 14th of May.
