The following cases were heard at Teesside and Cleveland Magistrates court this week.
JAMES DANIELS, 28 of Gramplan Drive in Peterlee was committed to prison for three months suspended for 18 months after being found in possession of a kitchen knife in a public place. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £128 to victim services, £85 to Crown Prosecution Services and the kitchen knife will be destroyed.
NATHAN WILES, 24 of Hartington Road in Stockton was given a community order and fined £320 after trespassing into a home intending to steal, interfering with a motor vehicle with the intention to steal that motor vehicle, interfering with another motor vehicle with intent to steal it and resisting a police constable. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £75 in compensation.
