DAR recognizes Good Citizens of the Year applicants

The Fort Vallonia Daughters chapter of the American Revolution recently held a virtual meeting to honor the candidates for the 2020 Good Citizens of the Year contest for county schools in lieu of the banquet which was cancelled due to the coronavirus.
The four nominees and their schools are Katherine E. Benter, Brownstown Central High School; Erin Enzinger, Trinity Lutheran High School; Jaylen A. Spence, Medora High School; and Gavyn Stagnolia, Seymour High School.
Benter wound up winning the contest and her application papers were forwarded to the Indiana District Good Citizen Committee chairperson. The winning entry was submitted to judges at the D.A.R. Indiana District level.
