Dana Balter, who twice won Democratic primary elections for Congress but failed to unseat Rep. John Katko, has decided against making a third bid for the Syracuse-area House seat next year.
Balter, 45, of Syracuse, told syracuse.com | The Post-Standard that she won’t seek public office in 2022, and instead will focus on a new job working for a nonprofit government reform group in New York state.
