Damien's Place Family Pantry in Wareham: Come down and get some food

Its address is 3065 Cranberry Highway, but it isn’t actually on the highway.
It’s tucked discreetly in the back of that address, behind a Sherwin-Williams Paint Store, completely out of sight from the highway.
But it’s well worth looking for if you or your loved ones need food.
Lately, though, numbers are down at the pantry and other pantries in the state, though hunger continues to be a problem in the commonwealth.
Attorney General Maura Healey got on a conference call with state pantries last week, as well as representatives of the Greater Boston Food Bank and other state food banks, said Damien’s warehouse manager Jackie Arsenault.
