Dallas County adds 30 COVID-19 deaths, 2,366 new cases; the county’s death toll is now over 1,500
The state announced nearly 20,000 coronavirus cases Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tarrant County recorded 16 more fatalities, and Collin County logged eight.

Dallas County on Tuesday reported 2,366 more coronavirus cases, all of them considered new. Thirty new COVID-19 deaths also were reported.
Seven of the victims were Dallas residents: two men in their 60s, two women in their 70s and three men in their 80s.
Eight of the victims were Garland residents: two men in their 50s, a man and two women in their 70s, two men in their 80s and a man in his 90s.
