AN AWARD-WINNING Dalgety Bay company has been taken over by a worldwide IP video streaming solutions firm, in a bid to extend services.
The 120 jobs at Exterity are safe as part of the move, which as been described as an "strategic acquisition", and employees will now make up the combined group of almost 200 engineers across VITEC's global development centres.
Headquartered at St David's Business Park, Exterity was founded in 2001, and it's found success helping businesses and companies around the world create and define their own internal television services to fit their users’ needs.
Famous golf courses, concert halls, luxury hotels and football stadia around the world have all used Exterity’s technology in recent year,s and they now have hubs in major cities, with offices in London, Atlanta, Paris, Munich, Dubai, Melbourne, Johannesburg and Hong Kong.
