Dal lake, Ajanta Caves, Banke Bihari temple among 12 sites under ' Swachh Tourist Places', full list here

The twelve sites include Ajanta Caves, Sanchi Stupa, Jaisalmer fort, Golconda Fort, Sun temple, Dal lake among others, as per the release issued by the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
Ajanta Caves 
The initiative aims at enhancing the experience of both domestic and foreign visitors.
The sanitation and cleanliness standards at and around the chosen sites will undergo a planned enhancement.
The government, in the next phases of the Swachh Bharat Mission, is expected to choose other unique tourist destinations from other parts of the country.
With a plan to promote tourism in the country, the central government has selected a total of 12 tourist sites spanning across nine states and UTs under the initiative of Swachh Tourist Destinations or Swachh Iconic Places (SIP). The newly formed Ministry of Jal Shakti will ensure that these places have good sanitation and will lead the efforts to renovate these places so as to become a popular destination for international and domestic tourists.
