DA: Man in Oroville drag racing crash faces 3 manslaughter charges

OROVILLE, Calif. - A man charged with street racing on April 29, that resulted in the deaths of three people and injuring a fourth was held to answer felony manslaughter charges on Tuesday at the Butte County Superior Court, according to Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey.
Butte County Superior Court Judge Michael Candela found sufficient evidence against Carlos Lee Hill Jr., 20, of Oroville to send his case to a jury trial on three counts of manslaughter, a count of street racing causing death and injury, reckless driving causing death and injury and hit-and-run driving resulting in death and injury.
