DA asks police to probe former top Emalahleni municipal officials for pocketing R11.6m in travel allowances

Khumalo said the DA wanted the police to investigate Van Vuuren and Hlatshwayo for violating the Local Government Regulations, the Emalahleni Local Municipality’s travel policy and the Municipal Finance Management Act.
