13,000 over-65 residents attend COVID Task Force phone call Wednesday; Cape has 'the best infrastructure in the state'

Sen. Julian Cyr (D-Truro) and members of the Cape Cod COVID-19 Task Force on Wednesday reassured 13,000 callers age 65 and up that "we are ready" to administer vaccines once equipped with proper supply.
Part info session and part pep talk, the state's legislative delegation, Cape Cod Healthcare and Barnstable County officials spent close to 90 minutes detailing plans for county drive-through vaccine clinics running at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis and the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in Falmouth.
