Cyclist seriously injured after collision with car at Golden Bay

The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter attended the incident on Saturday morning.
One person has suffered serious leg injuries after a crash involving a car and cyclist on State Highway 60 in Golden Bay on Saturday morning.
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened around 9.50am on the section Takaka-Collingwood Highway between Tukurua Rd and Parapara Beach Rd.
Police, fire crews and ambulance attended.
The road was down to one lane while emergency services worked on the scene, with the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter sent to the site around 10am.
