Reece Landmark was named the National Junior College Athletic Association Division 2 baseball player of the week.
Landmark made the most of his opportunities for Catawba Valley last week, reaching base safely in every plate appearance and driving in five RBI.
In Saturday’s game against Cleveland Community College, Landmark played as the designated hitter. He went two-for-two with two runs scored and two RBI. Sunday against Cleveland, He went four-for-four with two runs scored, three and he drew a walk as well.
His receiving of the award marks a program-record fourth NJCAA Baseball weekly award winner this season for the Red Hawks.
