U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, announced Sept. 14 that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded nearly $15 million to the Ohio Department of Health and three Ohio counties, including Cuyahoga County, to reduce overdose deaths, improve data collection, and prevent harms related to overdoses, according to a news release.
